Rene Marie Russo has been a supermodel, actress as well as a film maker in the United States. Her accomplishments both in and out from the Octagon have turned her into an international brand after she became a member of the UFC. Namajunas is born June 29th, 1992 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose was a kickboxer and basketball player as a child. She made her debut professionally when she was 18 in the Invicta Fighting Championships in which she won two fights via submission. Dana White noticed this and on December 14, 2014, aged 22 she signed her for a fight as a strawweight with UFC. Her career has had highs as well as lows and she's capable of coming out of the fight on top. Rose fought Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. Rose won the bout via technical knockout in just 3 minutes after the start of the round. It was the first time a woman competed for a title title with any major organization worldwide. Namajunas had a number of wins following this fight and received the title of Performance Of The Night by UFC after her wins over Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
