Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress famous for her character Bo in The Showcase program Lost Girl. Silk is born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. She is the daughter of Peter an academic and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actor, director, educator, playwright and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest impressions were of the play school and watching her mother at work. Silk was the subject of several commercials while she was still in the midst of her childhood. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Arts with a major in Theater from St. Thomas University in 1997. Early theater work includes at minimum two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk relocated from Toronto in the month of November 1999 in the month of November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her acting career. Seth Cooperman was her future husband when she began to meet him in 2007 at an actor's workshop held in Los Angeles. The couple began their engagement in 2009 and were married in an unofficial ceremony in occurred in December. Her portrayal of Bo as well as Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender on Lost Girl was named one of its all-time Favorite TV Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) as well as named the top Television Couple of 2013 by E!
